Adverse weather creates problem in collecting bodies of chopper crash victims

Suketar, Feb 27 : Adverse weather has affected the task of collecting bodies of Air Dynasty chopper crash victims. Seven people including Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, were killed in the crash that took place this afternoon. 

Although there was no situation to land the helicopter of the Nepal Army at the incident site, four bodies have been collected and brought to the Suketar airport using ropes to airlift the bodies. 

Problem has been surfaced to bring other remaining bodies as snowfall has been taking place at Darebhir of Taplejung. A night vision helicopter of the NA is now at Suketar airport. 

The helicopter of Air Dynasty carrying a team comprising Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari had left Kathmandu for feasibility study of airport at Chuhandanda of Terhathum, which met with an accident at Darebhir of Taplejung while returning to Kathmandu.(RSS)
