Kathmandu, July 15 (RSS): The delegation of International Leftist Youth Force from Venezuela visited the Federal Parliament in Nepal today and took stock of the parliamentarian practices.
According to National Assembly member Balaram Prasad Banskota, the Venezuelan delegation reached the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor and learned about the existing parliamentary practices.
The delegation, which came to Nepal at the invitation of Youth Federation of Nepal, comprises Nicolas Ernesto Maduro Guerra, who is the son of Venezuelan President.
Parliamentarian Banskota, the visiting Venezuelan delegates and Nepali parliamentarians discussed that Nepal and Venezuela were moving ahead in solidarity in the international forum since there were many similarities between the two countries, such as both countries promulgated constitution through constituent assembly and were moving towards socialism.
The Venezuelan delegation also held a meeting with the parliamentarians from the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
